NK cells have a unique capacity to kill mutated or infected cells quickly. These characteristics of the NK cell are greatly used in this M.Sc. thesis when cytotoxicity analyses with varying conditions are performed. The main goal of this thesis was to determine the effects of time and various cytokines on NK effector cells. Therefore, the effects of cytokines on NK cells with various incubation timesand different target cells are presented. The target cells in the cytotoxicity analyses
were either K562, NK-92 or YT-cells.
